VOLUNTEER WITH QUEST

Get involved…
it’s what you CAN do that counts

Quest RDA Coaches

Our Volunteers

Volunteers are the beating heart of our organisation who help children and adults with physical and/or learning difficulties to ride for therapy, achievement and fun. Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and get a fantastic feeling of satisfaction that you are making a difference. Whatever your skills, you have something to offer, either with the riding sessions, fundraising or in a support role.

We are very proud that everyone involved with Quest RDA is a volunteer and we have no paid employees.

Ways to get involved

Quest RDA horse care and maintenance riding for the disabled

Support for riding sessions

These provide an opportunity to work with Quest’s horses and to ensure participants enjoy their riding lessons in safety. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given.

Other ways to get involved

Although Quest is very fortunate to be based at Laris Farm where  our ponies receive 5 star management and care, there are still opportunities to get involved with helping with our ponies.  If Horses aren’t for you, there are many other ways to get involved with our team, for example, finance, admin, marketing and social media.  We would love to hear from you if you can help out.

Let’s Make Things Happen

We could not continue without our dedicated volunteers, but we also depend heavily on our sponsors, fundraising and donations to pay for care of the horses, insurance and equipment.

“Riding with the RDA has totally changed my life. Not only have I won Paralympic gold medals, but riding and sport have taught me skills to improve my daily life – I am more able and confident, allowing me to fulfill my potential in all areas of my life, including making friends, living independently and in employment.”
